Thanks!!!
Robbie muffled a yawn as he opened the taxi door and ushered Sophie to get in. Even the taxi driver lifted his eyebrows and smiled at them. He closed the door as he slid in next to her and the taxi started to move down the block. It slightly reminded Sophie of the bus, considering the blinding neon yellow color it was painted. Then she noticed something interesting up ahead as she peered out the window.
"Robbie, who does that look like to you?" Sophie said questioningly. Robbie's eyes widened as he also looked out the window to see two very unlikely people.
"Well, I would have to say that looks a lot like Jake and Kelsey. Are they holding hands?!" He exclaimed.
"I would have to say I think they are." Sophie said as she smiled. "Here I'm gonna send her a text." So Sophie texted "Hi! We see you two!" Robbie laughed as he saw the text and Sophie sent it. Then, a few seconds later, Kelsey pulled her phone out of her pocket and looked at the text. Her face went beet red as she showed it to Jake. Soon though, the two were out of sight and on Sophie and Robbie were on their way to the airport. Traffic was thin so at least they arrived in under 30 minutes. They paid the driver, got the bag and went inside the bustling building. It was full of men and women in suits carrying huge mugs of coffee and briefcases, screaming babies, and old couples in tropical shirts and khaki's. The two went through the basic security and the always annoying luggage search. Then finally they sat down and waited for their time to leave.
"Did you at least leave a note for your parents so they know we're gone?" Sophie said wringing her hands.
"Yes, it's ok, try not to stress so much. Everything is done now, we just need to fly there and find your parents."Robbie said kissing her cheek.
"I know, but it just doesn't seem real does it." Sophie stated.
"Well," Robbie started to say, but the loud clear intercom voice interrupted him saying "Now boarding flight 973 to Peru, now boarding flight 973."
"Thats us, come on." Robbie said guiding Sophie down the rows of soft blue chairs to the boarding area. As Sophie stared down at the white tile of the airport, she tried to think about what she was doing and if it was right. Then, she realized it was too late, she was too far into this to even think about going back. So, she traveled hand in hand with Robbie down the ramp leading to the plane. The plane that would take her to her parents.
