~~~Sophie ran right home from her bus stop and through her front door in under a minute, she couldn't wait until she could post what happened on her blog.

~~~ Before she could make it up the stairs to her room, her parents called her into the living room. Sophie grimaced, another lecture she was thinking. What did she do? Ok, so maybe she didn't take the trash out last week and maybe she forgot to feed her cat Polka but nothing major. She walked slowly into the living room to find her parents sitting side by side on the soft brown leather couch. This couldn't be good, there was big news, but what?

~~~Sophie sat on the loveseat parallel to the big couch and scanned her parents faces. They weren't going to move, her fathers job didn't imply that so maybe just a trip, that wasn't too bad.

~~~Then to answer her, her father said "Sophie, me and your mother are going to leave for a while and we can't bring you."

~~~Sophie wasn't that surprised, just at the fact that she wasn't going!!"Wait," she said "So your leaving, without me? Where am I going to stay exactly? And where are you going!?"

~~~Her father calmly explained "Well we are going to Puru for buisiness for a year, and you are going to a temporary care home."

~~~Sophie was shocked, how could her parents do this! She said "Wait, what home exactly, not foster care right?" she waited for thier reply.

~~~" No, you will stay with a very kind family, we looked at their background and they are highly rated in this kind of thing, your in good hands!" her father tried to sound convincing but wasn't doing a real great job.

~~~"Who is the family? Do we know them?" She wanted to know.

~~~"Well we talked to the parents or shall I say the Vannson's and they apparently have a son who goes to your school. They say the names Robbie? Do you know him?"

~~~Sophie at that moment probably looked like a fish, but was able to mumble a yes. "Well good, we already packed you up so you can head over later tonight. I hope you don't mind." Sophie just said whatever and headed upstairs to take a last look at her green and purple room, she was going to live at Robby's house.
