Thanks!!!
~~~She walked the block over to her bus stop on the suburban road. They used to live in the country, until her father got that promotion and made them move to the strange land of Pennsylvania. She came here on the 1st of September, only to find the cliques were already organized. She played the bassoon so she fit in enough with the band kids. Despite the fact that she was stick thin and had wide hips, she had made friends outside of band too. Most of them had come from the school soccer team and book club. She knew it was kind of pathetic, but still it was better than none.
~~~ When she came to the bus stop she found that it was freezing and ice covered the cement by the curb. Today, she realized, was not a good day to wear a jean skirt and a PEACE OUT! tank top. Sometimes she forgot that she lived in a fridged cold state. Finally, after feeling the numbness nip at her fingers and knuckles, she heard the powerful bus engine come around the corner. Sophie was the third one out of the five to step up on the rumbling beast and then let out a relived breath as she fell into her seat next to her best friend Caitlyn.
~~~ She was basically the oppisite of Sophie, Caitlyn was curvy with thick curly brown hair to her sholders, brown eyes the color of hot cocoa and freckles. Sophie on the other hand had straight bleach blond hair that would never curl even if the curling iron was a flame thrower, she also had a plain and unmarked face,not even long eyelashes to go with her ivy green eyes.
~~~"Hey crazy, trying to get pnemonia!" said Caitlyn. Sophie laughed and smiled, Caitlyn always used medical terms mostly because she wanted to become a doctor.
~~~"I forgot I lived here when I got up this morning, in Texas I could wear this everyday!" said Sophie.
~~~"Yeah," said Caitlyn,"I need to go to Texas."
~~~They both then talked and laughed the whole ride there, until they approached the High School. As freshmen, it was never fun going into the huge school, especially so because she got jitters walking past a particular someone on the way in. A person's name that happened to be Robbie. There wasn't a girl in that school that didn't swoon when he walked in a room. Today as Sophie and Caitlyn stepped off the bus he just happend to be there sitting on a bench surrounded by the cheerleaders. She found it strange, Robbie could date anyone he wanted,cheerleaders,populars, anyone, but he chose not to date.
~~~ As they walked by the bench the impossible happened, he waved at Caitlyn and Sophie and the cheerleaders even scowled at them. Caitlyn didn't like Robby, she claimed he wasn't cute, but she was crazy obviously.To Sophie, his light brown hair swept to one side, ice blue-green eyes and even lips made him irrisisable. Sophie was too stunned to wave back, so Caitlyn did it for her. The rest of the day was a blur just because all Sophie could think of was him.
