memories of you
caress my mind
like arms waiting to embrace me
its my safeguard
a tender heart filled with
love, joy, passion, devotion, forgiveness
there's no room for indifference
still craving your warmth as if my
soul's existence relied on it
suspended but only temporarily
until you return from the dark place
your mind creates
where fear and doubt were born
if my eyes are the windows to my soul
then let my pen be the spokeswoman for my heart
let my love be the annecdote to what ails you
listen to my heart's song to erase your lonliness
and let it soothe and comfort the feelings that depress
you're brilliant and amazing essence
