The LAAT/i gunship thundered over the remains of the battle field and Cade thought to himself just how many lives sat in his hands right now. 'Too many' he thought; he needed a break. He couldn't believe how his master, Rac Sheesa, could do all this and retain her cheerful disposition. Cade couldn't place it but he felt a small itching at the back of his throat that normally associated itself with a disturbance in the force. He'd mentioned it to his master when they had landed on the ice glacier planet known as Ren Var, but she only wrote it off as the pre-battle titters, so Cade ignored the feeling. But now it was stronger and he couldn't ignore it any longer. Something felt WRONG. Cade couldn't get any farther into his thoughts because at that moment he was ripped out of them by his clone commander Steven. "Sir!" he yelled over the roar of the engines "General Sheesa is calling in!" It took Cade no time at all to reply "Then patch her through!" His master was a lot like a mother to him and he'd do absolutely anything to make sure she was safe. The side doors slammed closed to offer as much darkness available to them so the hologram could come through properly. The holoprojector at the front of the cargo bay flickered to life as the familiar face of Rac Sheesa came into focus and nodded a silent hello. "Master, I'm afraid I'm not doing the best you would require of me but-" "Cade, calm down your doing fine for your first time, and I'm very proud of you" Master Rac said smiling like only a mother would. "I'm going to take over opperations for a little while, so don't do anything crazy or irrational while you fly yourself back to the mobile command center." "Yes master we were just-" but then something hit the side of the gunship making everyone stumble but not quite enough to knock anyone over. Then the alarm klaxons started to ring. "What hit us!" Cade yelled over the sound of overworking engines and screaming metal. "Concussion missle! We're going down!" Rac looked stunned and afraid "Cade!" she screamed, but was overcome by the sound of static and the holoimage sputtered and died leaving Cade and the clone troopers to fend for themselves. "Captain!" Cade screamed at the pilot. "Open the hatch doors!" But all that replied was a burst of static. "Peachy" Cade muttered to himself as he turned to the doors. "Stand back! I'm getting us out of here!" And he blew the side door off its hinges with a slight nudge in the force, waited for every one of the clone troopers to jump, and then he launched himself out of the burning gunship with a force-leap. When he hit the ground, he realized that he had landed in the middle of a large group of battle droids, and with a SNAP-HISS Cade activated his lightsaber allowing its blue blade to wash the droids in a blue tint before he cut down every one of them in a matter of five seconds. He kept his lightsaber activated so he could get some extra heat since it was literally freezing, and started back down the road in the general direction of the mobile command center, while he commed his master to tell her he was alright. Oh yea. Something definitely felt wrong.
