Witch

The sunset was beautiful. No cloud was in sight; the sigh of the sea was calming and soothing. Time itself seemed to stand still; it was so peaceful. It’s absolutely perfect, right? Oh yes. Unless, of course, you were betrayed and have been sentenced to die. In case you couldn't guess, that's my case.
I stared out of the barred window. The silence gets to you after a while. It makes you go insane. Just to make the silence angry and leave, you talk to yourself. Because, you are your only friend. Everyone else wants you dead. You're a danger to all races.
You try to tell yourself what they say isn't true. You try with all your soul, heart and might. But, as your final day draws closer, you embrace the title without hesitation. And then, your anger takes you over. How dare they sentence YOU, a powerful being, to die!
And then there are your friends, who betrayed you into this. They told lies, and acted like you were controlling them. And now, here you are. Stuck, in a prison cell, doomed to die.
This is my story. The story of a witch.
