One morning, I awake to a sudden chill when I walk outside,
Brrrrr, How cold it is!
My breath visible in the freezing air,
I feel like I'm standing next to a block of ice,
It overwhelms me,
I shudder violently,
Wrapping my bare hands around me,
Legs close together, the cold touching my cheeks,
I have to get warm,
My body heat is dropping by the second,
How did it get so frosty?
I don't understand.
I wait a bit outside,
Frozen to the solid ground below me,
I can't budge,
Like an evergreen, whose stump holds it firmly down,
Then, slowly from the gray, humungous clouds,
Light begins to leak through,
And at last, the sun is out,
To rescue me from my hold,
The heat of the sun greets me,
Like an old friend that has come to visit,
I love its warmth, a great sensation,
I think I can now take off my wool scarf now.
