The silly things my brain thinks up when I've had a bad day. =S Thought maybe if I put them somewhere, I wouldn't have them rattling about my head so much.

If books were real, and life was fiction
There would be no more book addiction
For if life was fake, and books were not
No escapism would need be sought
A book-like life would have meaning
A reason for feeling the way I'm feeling
And everyone you met, a villian or a spy
Or a supernatural love interest, not meeting your eye
No more humdrum existence, from nine until five
The world is in danger, go save some lives!
No more mortgages and routines, they're not too dramatic
But magic and mischief, and plot twists all erratic
And if life were like one of your favourite texts
You'd never look back and still have regrets
Books, movies and theatre - not mundane and slow
So if art imitates life, where did life go?
