As I lay in bed staring at the ceiling with somnolent eyes,
Moonlight penetrates the tranquil room,
Illuminating all four corners with an eerie light.
Summoning even the darkest creatures that prowl at night
Bringing about the ghastly shadows of the tousled tree tops
Whilst crickets croon their all-too-familiar yet soothing tune
I drift away from my house, my world
To enter the indefinite and supernatural dimensions
Where you have nothing to fret about except your nightmares
