Repose

Wearily a body wanders,

across a feather plane.




No direction left to ponder,

wallows in what remains.




Straining toward horizons end,

a gaze of weathered stone.




Beholds the source of hearts pretend,

by the sea she waits alone.




Forlorn spirit, thirsty still,

yearning for dreams collage.




Loyal slave to masters will,

must drink from the mirage.




Stumbling toward a refuge lost,

a fate God only knows.




Detached from completions cost,

their coalescing brings repose
