In the middle there were friends and foes. Heavy on the friends light on the foes. There were parties and there were bars. There were sleepovers and up all nighters. There was laughter there were tears. There were people moving on who I'm not ready to let go of. (Thats right I'm talking about you) Now I am in the middle and can thus stop writing in past tense.
I am in the middle. The middle is when you are about to move on and you realize that you need to be important. What you do with the rest of your life needs to impact man kind or at least your neighborhood. The preparation to change the world is almost done, after all finals went really well. Thats all you need right? That and a good head on you shoulders. But then you remember you're in the middle and the middle gets complicated. After all lets look at most things found in the middle.
In the middle of the earth- Magma. no good and highly testy. Talk to Pompeii.
In the middle of stories- conflict.
In the middle of sentances- filler words.
In the middle of mountains- Valleys- o.k. not so bad

Here's what happens in the middle for a woman. In the beginning of the middle women either realize that they are or aren't there mothers daughters. That woman who seemed so perfect in my mind is actually a different person than me. And she doesn't like that, in fact she no longer really likes me. We realize that our parents are past the point where they only want the best for us and now see us a as regular people to be judged and proded at. They forget we still need them and their approval.
In the middle women realize that this is the real deal and we want babies (at least this woman does) but are so afraid that it won't ever happen for them because they will never feel contented.
In the middle some women realize they can't find contentment (that's right I'm talking to you). In my middle I am sick of women in the middle middle telling me to cool my jets. I realize when I am irrational. Just give me a second to not be so in control all of the time!
Sometimes the middle is nice though. You're allowed a little wiggle room in the middle. I love being young, but I hate being sad, and more and more that is the middle that I live in. Tomorrow will be better. I will still be in the middle but maybe it will be nicer outside.
