Sara must fend it off and escape with the old book so it does not fall into the wrong hands and end with disaster. When she meets Fire, Meeko, May and Mark, they offer her a way out of her life here and go to another someplace else. Sara hesitates. would she dare leave her place here? Would she leave her life, her friends, her family, her home and go with them off into the unknown to discover the true meaning and power of the book that lies in her hands? Where they will take her is a mystery still. I know the place, and it shall come soon.

I have read it to many people in my class a long time on this story and have kind of memorized the first part and can give it to you. I am working on the real thing at school but when I am done, I will put the whole thing on here.

The stars sparkled overhead, glinting in the night sky. One single cloud drifted over the glowing moon. Moonlight spilled unto the grass also lit up by street lights. One light flickered constantly. A small, scrawny cat sniffed at a pole and then raced away into an ally.

All was dark, and all was silent. For now.

The silence was broke when two lone figures ran across the dark street in the black of the night. Their boots clattered on the road loudly and their heavy panting tell that they had ran for a long way. When they reached the sidewalk, they passed a street light. They had white, big cloaks draped around them and hoods were pulled over their faces. They raced up to a building on the other side of the street.

One stopped gasping at the door. Slowly it pulled out a small package that he had held the whole way. He stared at it in disbelief for a while and then looked through a window.

The other person looked at him. "Everybody's gone. I checked." Whispered a woman's voice from under the hood.

"I was just making sure!" Snapped the other person, a man. The woman fell silent. The man, suddenly sensed her sadness. "I'm sorry." He murmured. "I'm just a little worried now I guess. I just can't believe it right now." He stopped and looked at the package again in his hands. After a while, he asked quietly, "Are you sure their all gone?"

"Every one of them." She assured him. Them man nodded and looked at the package. The woman took a step closer to him and a pale hand took his shoulder. "Your worried that it will go into the wrong hands." She said as if she could see right through him. "Do not worry any longer."

"But We can't be sure!" The man protested. "I know that your doing whats best for the book, I am too but....I just can't stop worrying. They will do anything to get their hands on it."

The woman nodded. "They will do anything but its really what we have to do to keep it safe for now. For now until she finds it. We heard the prophecy. She will get it first."

"But what if its wrong?" The man wailed. The woman pressed closer to him.

"We can't keep it safe forever." She whispered. The man shook and a tear dropped to the ground. He then nodded and turned his head to the slot in the wall that was embedded into the building. Slowly, he put the package into it, his hands trembling. He put it on without haste.

Once it was in, he looked sadly over to the woman. She nodded, also sad thoughts flickering her mind. "It was for the best." She whispered. Her voice was full of sorrow and a sadness that was in a small memory from a long time ago that does not need to be shared now. But it seemed like the thought flew from both of them. They shared a terrible memory that was feared forever. And would infect their home forever unless they did something.

"For the best." The man repeated. "It is for now gone, but not gone out of our thoughts and memory's. It shall be back, and we will be ready for it when she comes for our help."

"The woman nodded and looked up to the sky. The man followed her gaze, staring up at the stars above. The same thought flickered through both of their minds. "Home." The man whispered. "And to believe it is so far away. from here. Too far away for my comfort."

The woman nodded and for a while, they looked up at the moon and the stars. At last the woman grabbed his hand. He looked up at her. "Come on." She murmured. "Lets go." The man's eyes filled up with sadness and as well as her.

Then they disappeared just in time as the moon waned and a small jay began to sing. They disappeared just as the sunset started and the sky light up with colors.

They disappeared when sunlight spilled down just where they used to be.
