I wonder

Shining brightly
A million stars
Dazzling in their luminiscence,
Fragments of sun
Strewn across the night sky

I look at you
And wonder
How He could have encompassed
The beauty of the night sky
And a million stars
In a pair of eyes


Then
I turn away
And wonder
How He who made a million stars
To light up the sky
Forgot, in all His wisdom,
And made you blind.
