ANNOCEMENT
I wanted so bad to be with her; standing right beside her, arm around her waist, pulling her ever closer to me. I wanted to be with her so bad it hurt. Cutting me deep inside in places that were tender and soft from never being used before.
Petals from a cherry tree were falling lightly on her head, making the scene look like a fairy tale, except for one thing. Standing beside her, too close for comfort, was Rajaka, grinning as if he had already won. But I knew differently…she would not betray me, she would not.
To my deep amusement, I saw her recoil away from his gaze. Ha!!! I nearly laughed out loud.
Something was happening where a petal had landed in Rajaka’s mouth and he was playfully gagging. I was disturbed to see her laughing along with him, but what could I do…I was here stuck in an extremely uncomfortable chair.
Unexpectedly, she glanced down at the shinning ground. She gave a small squeal of surprise before flying into the air momentarily. So quick that I almost missed it, Rajaka had taken those two steps to put himself under her. He hit the back of her knees with his hand making it impossible for her to remain standing, while simultaneously grabbing the back of her shoulders to stop her from falling onto the ground. The result was that she was being cradled in his arms, and my muscles tensed up before relaxing.
She wouldn’t allow him to do that, she would push away from and hate him for it, and I will win again. I closed my eyes not even needing to see my own victory, but curiosity won me over and I opened my eyes.
Something was wrong. She wasn’t pushing back against him, and she wasn’t getting mad at him. More importantly, he was winning…my girl.
Panic overtook me.
Why was she cuddling up to him, taking up his warmth like she’ll never ever feel warmth again? I knew that she was being tricked with his magic, but wasn’t our relationship more important than that? Wasn’t our relationship powerful enough to overcome his magic?
I retreated to the dark corners of my mind once again, shutting myself out to the world.
But the image followed me. There was nothing I could do, it was always right there.
I ran to different corners of my mind, mentally throwing up shields against this image.
He was about to kiss her now, and she looked willing.
I tried to run again, I didn’t want to watch this.
It was still there.
It was killing me.
Make it stop.
My unspoken prayer was answered when she suddenly came to her senses and shoved away from him. The only explanation I could come up with was that his power must have failed him.
She was arguing with him now. I cautiously came out of my mind.
He was in an attack position, and I was very worried for her. I wanted to stand between them; to help her; to fight him.
She was going back to her room now, accompanied by Rajaka; blood dripping down his chin. He was constantly wiping at it, but she must have hit him really hard.
As they approached her room, he bowed low, departing before they reached her room. I was filled with suspicion, he had never left her so early before.
A smell was erupting through the screen.
Human blood.
Till then I hadn’t even noticed, but I was really hungry, I hadn’t eaten in a while. The smell was intoxicating, swallowing up my will power. I wanted the blood. I needed the blood.
I could tell that Keeva was having the same thoughts as me. Eyes swirling with desire, she opened the door to her room.
Inside was a cage, and inside that cage a man. He was helpless; blood already gushing through countless wounds.
No, I thought for her sake not mine. She would regret this; I knew she would.
My mental warnings were unheard though. Her eyes were so focused upon the human; I wondered if she really even saw him. There was no turning back, I could see that now, this would end in disaster for one and regret for the other.
Suddenly the door to the cage was open and the feeble human was being fed upon. I made myself look away.
Then, as quickly as it had begun, it was over. The human’s nimble body was crumpled on the ground and Keeva was on top of her bed, sobbing as realization finally kicked in at what she had done.
For the second time that day, I wanted to be there for her…so much so that it was causing me physical pain as well as mental. I finally got why this would be torture for me.

Will you read my story "the 4 souls''?
I'm only on the prolouge, but I would appreciate the advice of another writer…more "
It's dramatic!
I think you did copy a lot from twilight though... mostly in this chapter "
I am addicted at this point....
I am a little bit creeped out about the last quote though.... "
