Please God,
Don’t let me convince myself I’m a speck of dust
Don’t let me cave in under their judgments
They don’t know me like you do.
Catch me when I blow away in the merciless wind
Some days are just too blustery
And when they don’t hold my hand through the pressure,
When they start blowing with the wind, cheeks puffed,
Please help me realize I’m your beautiful dust speck, and
Keep me holding their hands, and not blow them too.
