Journal Entry

It was a sensation I know well. As the breeze ruffled my hair and sang in my ear, the sensation of connectedness came over me. It is the same feeling I have every time I find the time to sit quietly outdoors and think. It is a familiar, comforting feeling. Like being visited again by an old friend I have not seen in many years. The trouble is I cannot quite grasp with certainty what I am feeling connected to. I feel as though I am missing something important, something fundamental, by only a hairs breadth. I know that it is pleasing and comforting and yet at the same time, confusing.
