I buried with her my eyes,
My heart, and my serenity.
She took with her my laughter,
My joy, and my white lily,
She hid all the tiny clothes,
Toys, and tales of the wonder city.
“Sophia, my love,
Are you trying your wings?
Are you moving the right one?
Or are you waiting for me
To show you how it’s done?
Sophia, my heart,
Are you playing with pearls
Like you use to do with mine?
Or drinking from Heavenly milk
Mixed with honey and wine?
Sophia, my eyes,
You raced me far to Heaven
I’ve lost and you did win.
One day, when I come there,
I’ll get you back to my self
And tie you deep within.”
