Laying in the crib in a room that was becoming familiar to me. I looked around to see what there was to do one night. I had woken up and was thirsty. I did not know how to get a nurse to come in and help me. A two and a half year old doesn't know about buttons yet.
As I looked around I saw a tray. On the tray were several thing and what I knew was a juice box.
"I want that box," I thought to myself. I crawled down to the end of the crib.
"I will just reach through there and get it." As I came to draw my hand back it would not fit back through the bars.
"I am going to get that box." I put my other hand through the bars next to the one my other hand was through. It was slightly higher then my right arm so I passed the box up to my left hand. Moving my right arm to a higher position and put the box back in that hand.
I looked around nervously, "I am doing something bad I know it." Not seeing or hearing anyone I set back to getting my juice box. I moved my left hand again then passed the box up to it. By this point my left hand was close enough to the top of the crib that I could get the box by reaching over the top of the crib.
After doing so I had the box and I started to drink it. It already had the straw in it ready for me to drink it. "I am such a bad girl." With that I laid down and went back to sleep.
