This series creates an alternate world where Faeries and Demons and Shifters/Wyrs are familiar realities and have their own demesnes overlapping the human state and country boundaries. Each book is a stand alone although an overarching plot keeps all the previous heroes and heroines present in the background. The 5th novel, Lord's Fall, brings back the first couple Pia and Dragos from Dragon Bound and continues their story.
