It is J.D. Robb. Need i say anything more?

The story of good cops killing cops gone bad. Witty with a few surprises.

I love all her books in the "in death" series. This one was no exception. There is certainly a rhythm to her stories but most of all I enjoy the detail in which she describes the crime scenes and the clever analytical work to identify the killer.

All the stories are set around 2056. Enough to recognise our current existence but it assumes some sociological and technological changes. I won't mind living then.
