it was amazing
bookshelves: american-literature, book-to-movie

One of Steinbeck's best. He had his finger more directly on the pulse of the American people than any author I can think of, and this book is one of several that prove it. Lenny and George have rightly become like family members to all who read and appreciate American literature. What is amazing about this book is how well Steinbeck manages to portray the supporting cast of characters in such a short form. Each worker at the farm plays an important and memorable role in the story. Should be required reading.
