first off, let me preface by saying it's a gift book. a wholesome family stocking stuffer. it's not 'literature.' it's self-help in disguise. a children's story with an inspirational bent. and albeit, it's cheesy and very very predictable. the very last page is tired. the actual writing- repetitive and dull. but good god man, the basic message can be a wide wake-up call of the most dire kind, one that you've heard a million times and counting. and especially during the holidays, the message is damn near indispensable.
