Read from January 25 to 27, 2011

Victor Argeneau is sent to a little town, Port Henry to discover the source of vampire rumours that are circulating in Toronto. As well as the wanted ads for single, male vampires.

He arrives with DJ and is not happy to learn that he is not alone - Edward, Harper and Alessandro have heeded the call also.

Ellen Stone (aka Elvi Black) is the town vampire. She was created by accident down in Mexico, whilst in the middle of a car wreck. She doesn't know the rules and has been breaking them big time.

When Victor realises she is his lifemate, he is unsure what to do re the Council. And DJ discovers Mabel, Ellen's friend, is his lifemate also.

Edward's lifemate turns out to be Dulcie the checkout chick, Harper's is Jenny Harper the mail deliverer and Alessandro's is Mrs Ricci, the 80 yr old neighbour.

The wanted ad was placed by Mabel and the Police Chief was the source of the rumours. They both didn't want Ellen to remain alone after they died.

Lucien arrives with Leigh, his lifemate, to discover what is going on when he can't get Victor on the phone.

The Argeneau Vamps are a fun read and I will be reading more of them in the future.
