This book was a compilation of opinion columns written by John Grogan (author of Marley & Me) for the Philadelphia Inquirer. I had a fun time reading this book as the author has a great way of sharing his opinion without forcing it down your throat, and he successfully made me laugh or cry through nearly every column. It was also enjoyed the columns because he frequently referred to towns and schools in southeastern Pennsylvania that provided a level of familiarity for me.

I will admit though that I skipped one column - the one about his dog Marley passing away. I just couldn't bring myself to read it (similarly, I have not seen the movie or read the book Marley & Me, nor do I have any intention to).
