This was a really good look at how business models are changing in the modern world. People have been giving things away for free for a long time, but because the marginal cost of digital goods is ~zero, we're now able to give away things that once required a costly infrastructure to produce and distribute.

One of the most interesting things to me in this book was the discussion about how humans aren't used to the idea of abundance; we therefore tend to under-predict how abundant things will become, and instead assume scarcity will be the norm. This held true for most of our history, but it's certainly no longer the case, and that has huge ramifications for how how to make and sell things.
