HOT FINISH picks up right up where HARD AND FAST left off. It is a nice addition to the Fast Track Series. Unfortunately, it was like going to the dentist: Painful, but something I wanted to do.

Talk about not communicating - - Ryder and Suzanne Jefferson are your model couple! Yes, they both have their childhood issues to work through, which are touched on briefly (blah, blah, blah), but Suzanne snipes at Ryder constantly. No wonder he's so afraid to share his thoughts and feelings with her. She never believes him. Ryder isn't the only person Suzanne treats appallingly. She does the same to her friends and clients. They look the other way and excuse her behavior as due to her problematic relationship with Ryder. I won't even get started on Nikki....

There were a few things I did like about this and it's why it garnered a 3 Star Rating. All of the Racing Dudes and Dudettes reappear throughout HOT FINISH. It's NASCARish! I couldn't help but feel sorry for Ryder. When Suzanne and Ryder did manage not to joust....
