Patjones's review
I never much approved of the views of people who said we were experiencing 1984 under reagan or for whatever bad thing was happening in this country, but I have to say that both Brave new World, and 1984 seem to have JUMPED into believability in the last couple of years. We are not there yet, But I see both trends getting stronger and stronger with the vast majority of intelligent aware people not doing much to reverse it. (although there are some countervailing hopeful ones as well)
