really liked it
bookshelves: fiction, book-turned-movie

I honestly didn't think I would love this book as much as I did. But this has become my new favorite book. I want to read it over and over again.

I'm going to toss around the "L" word a lot. I loved Henry. I loved Clare. I loved the sequence of events, how every single moment that Henry travels comes back, in one way or another. I love the concept of destiny, even if I may not necessarily agree with it. I love how everything came together, that any questions I had were answered when I least expected it. I love that Henry's ability to time-travel only came when he felt really pressured or stress, which is an interesting insight into the male stereotype that guys "run" whenever things get too heavy. True? Not true? Either way, cleverly done.

So endeth the intense praise.
