Alex is a gang member from the wrong side of the track who starts dating Brittany as a dare. He thinks she is a superficial cheerleader who needs to be taken down a peg, she thinks he is just another gang member with no future, but there is a lot more to them than meets the eye and both are secretly attracted to one another. How will their reputations and lives be affected by their developing romance?

Good book, but I'm a sucker for a bad boy. I think I fell for the guy on the cover. I read this in two days and as I'm a pretty slow reader that was fast for me. I was sick when I read this and it totally took my mind off my illness. I liked the way it switched from Brittany's point of view to Alex's in each chapter so you knew what each of them was thinking throughout. I'm not sure I was totally crazy about Brittany's character she annoyed me at times but I did love Alex.

I'll definately give the next book a go.
