A brutally honest adolescent memoir of a gay boy growing up among an extended family of psychotics. Burroughs retells, with deft precision, a series of bizarre rights-of-passage incidents that leave you simply aghast. This book is truly funny, you would laugh out loud if it was not so disturbing and vivid. (11/24/03)
