really liked it

A well written, fascinating, inspiring story full of wonderful characters: some you love and others you love to hate. Loved reading about the complex, difficult relationship between white women and their black domestic help. Funny and endearing at times, but also heartbreaking and maddening.
One of my favorite quotes:
"...she is the laziest woman I've ever seen. Including my sister Doreena who never lifted a royal finger growing up because she had the heart defect that we later found out was a fly on the x-ray machine."

Arianna Hmmmm... I think I would have been more scared than Doreena.
