Rachel's review
How to Kill a Rock Star by Tiffanie DeBartolo
How to Kill a Rock Star was one of those books that I just happened to pick up on a book shopping spree. It was a good sized book with an interesting name, so I thought it would satisfy my craving.
I gave this book 5 stars because it manages to be chick lit that has a little something MORE. Even my boyfriend read and loved this book.
The characters are a music journalist and a musician, the sub characters are usually musicians as well. The story flies and even though at some point you tend to dislike the main character, she ends up becoming likeable toward the end.
Speaking of which, the plot twist at the end of this book was defintely unpredictable. I honestly didn't expect it to happen even though I kind of figured out what was to come afterward.
This book isn't a difficult read, but it will keep your interest the whole way through with memorable characters and a good, solid ending that will flip your opinions on chick lit forever.
