Christopher's review
The Camel Club by David Baldacci
This book seems like a conspiracists wet dream. It had good action and a clear plot line, but if I really wanted to read stuff like this, I'd be reading the huffington post, New York times, or some other leftist nutjob website. Basically, a homeless former CIA assassin turn Whitehouse lawn bum teams together with a foreign abortion nut, lirarian from the library of congress who dresses up in 19th century clothes, and an anti-social computer geek to solve a mystery murder that they find out was a cover up to protect government officials at the highest level who are spying on their own citizens.
Book kept me interested, but I generally steer clear of modern conspiracy novels, because they seem too much like reality too me, and i usually get pissed off at the author. I'll stick to fantastic and historical fiction, Thanks.
