I read the first two books in this trilogy in Tanzania before Christmas, so I had quite a break before finishing the series. When I saw that this had come out in paperback I decided I really wanted to finish reading the story.

It took me a while to get back into the storylines, since book 1 was about one storyline and book 2 about another, whereas book 3 finishes the storyline in book 2. Once I got into it again I was quickly hooked and simply had to finish it. This book, like the two others, is a page turner and I found myself reading at every opportunity.

I liked how almost every aspect of the storyline was neatly wrapped up, especially since the author is now sadly deceased and there definitely won't be any more books. It's ironic given his stance on women's rights that his partner has been treated so badly by his family after his death.

Highly recommended.
