Julie and Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen by Julie Powell
This was a great fun read! While it's focused on food, it goes far, far beyond that. The reader get's to enjoy Julie's swearing fits as she figures out how to hack into a bone for marrow and her shudders as she determines the most "humane" way to murder a lobster. Spectacular writing makes this a hilarious, quick book for just about anyone.
Sounds like a book that Heather G. would appreciate. Have you recommended it to her? I will have to read it, too!
