I can't listen to any more of this. I appreciate what Ehrenreich tried to do and I am sure that she did enlighten a lot of privileged Americans as to challenges of working class Americans but I wasn't one of them. Why? Because I come from one of these families and, more than anything, I found the tone of this book to be patronizing and I got so sick of hearing her mini-epiphanies, which basically translated into page after page of, "Oh, wow, they have it hard."
