Having visited Perugia several years before this brutal murder, the story has an odd fascination for me. I had read tons on the Internet and wanted to check out one of the books. This read, by Barbie Latza Nadeau, seemed like it would be the most balanced. Barbie is a well known journalist and actually speaks Italian, so she seemed the most well equipped to write for and about the trial.

The book provides the information in a well layed out story. Though you can tell she has her opinion, she does provide the complete picture and even paints the student scene in Perugia for the reader.

Even though I did not learn anything new from this book - nor did it change my personal opinion about Amanda Knox' involvement in the murder - this was a good book and account of the trial.

It was an extremely short book!
