I really enjoyed this novel -- I read most of it over the holiday weekend, which meant I had the chance to fully experience the characters and enjoy the pacing. It's not a book about plot -- it's about human relationships (like Dive from Clausen's Pier, which I also enjoyed) -- the small ordinary details that eventually, often surprisingly, add up to something important. That's true of this book as well.
