The second half of the story made the first half of the story make more sense, but some of the artwork was still a little confusing. In a few cases I had the feeling that the dialogue was trying to explain things that the artwork had failed to make clear.
Still, the idea that mankind has been plagued by fallen angels both good and bad was interesting. On the other hand, this story's mythologizing of Judaeo-Christian concepts is about as accurate as Marvel's Thor comics are as a representing Norse religion...The portrayal of Lucifer was the part that was the most interesting in this volume.
Overall, a very unusual "vampire" manga.
