A somewhat difficult read for me, in a good way. Gatto backs up his arguments with detailed studies, quotes, and documented outcomes. Contributes to the integrity of his writing, but discouraged my "speed-reading."
If for no other reason than to make you "think", you should read this book. Especially if you are an educator, a parent, or a college student. Every person seeking an education degree should consider this mandatory reading.
