Some Spoilers! No big give aways though!
I was estatic when I heard my beloved Stargirl was going to have her own sequel! I was going to see her life from HER point of view. But about ten pages into the book, I started becoming skeptical, it sounded more like susan then stargirl I thought, but I realized stargirl was different then I pictured, I thought she was soft spoken, only thought about others, and was unqiue. What I found out in Love, Stargirl, was better. She was talkative, LOUD spoken, thinks about others, AND is unique. My first thought about the book was squashed when she met Dootsie, sweet Dootsie, not your typical 6 year old, but hey, Stargirl wasn't a average 16 year old. Mrs. Blob, "I'm gonna be a waffle!" girl and Stargirl's best friend. Alvina is special in my heart to, not because she could beat a guy twice her size, but because of the words that were never spoken, but stargirl heard, "Stargirl's not rotten."
