** spoiler alert ** Awesome book. All sorts of feelings stirred up, but mostly anger and sadness at the destruction of a very special and delicate country. I get so tired of humans always being first—to the very future destruction of themselves, too, although they refuse to believe it.

There is also inspiration in this book, inspiration to go out there and try to save it—"it" being the land, and "out there" being anywhere you may live. Don't expect to win, but who knows, you just might be surprised. And if you aren't, then know that you tried your very best, and learned how courageous you really are.

I truly loved this book.

I've already renewed it once at my library. I wish I owned it so I could take my time. At the moment, I look at it and sigh. I have SO many books to read, I'm almost tempted to give this one up and buy it someday, yet I keep going. Big sigh. Anyone else?"

Laura This one looks really interesting; I'm eager to know what you think of it.

stellajames So far it's not bedtime reading. I have to concentrate reading this. I'm only a few pages in, but I love it.
