This book is a bit different from your average mystery, you learn who the killer is right from the beginning and the rest of the story is just the uncovering of her past and the way the FBI has of catching her. But although everything is right in the open from the start I couldn't put the book down, I always wanted to know more, it was addictive. There were a couple of things I'd like to see explained though, the contents of the note Nora's mother sent to her and the reason why her father was murdered. But all in all, and although James Patterson is writing with help, this book was very good!

1120738 Yes, I thought exactly the same thing. It's almost like there was a chapter missing, the one where the nurse reads the note and all the mysteries from the past are explained. And doesn't Nora ever realize her purse is missing? That's a big thing to leave behind and forget.

Anyway, I wanted to say hi because I agreed w/ your review and because it's always fun to find another Ana. I'm originally from Spain, how about you?

635159 It was really annoying, she was allowed to know the truth while we were left in the dark! :-(

I'm from your neighbour country, Portugal. I see you're now in the US, that's a big move!

1120738 Yes, I've been here for 30 years now. My ex-husband was a Marine for 21 years so I have lived all over the country, even Hawaii. All the rest of my famiy is still in Spain, Valencia. My best friend growing-up, also married an American and lives in Minnesota; her daughter Sandra is the one that invited me to Goodreads.
Your English is really good! Did you live in the US at some point?
