I really don't understand this book. I am the type of person that reads to get something out of the book. When I was done reading this I was left with the question "yeah...and?" i probably wouldn't use this in my classroom but if I had to I would use it when learning the difference between realistic fiction and fantasy.

After more thought I have decided that I still didn't like the book but I find that a story where a cat who gets lost and saved by a cat with wings can instill creativity in my students without them needing to read a chapter book that is more than this book's 6 or 7 chapters. I also think that I could use it for some sort of stranger danger lesson because the little cat Jane finally talks about what happened to her and I could use it to open the door te get my students to talk to me about stuff in their lives.
