Amazing insight from an autistic individual...loved getting a first hand account...point I want to remember...

"spinning is an aid to the inner ear mechanism that assists balance, coordination, and perception." (also helped her behavior)

*Useful tip for my special needs kid...

Denise Are you thinking Eddie might be autistic?

Emily I'm thinking that many autistic "treatments" seem to work for Eddie. Unfortunately Autistics are often visual learners, which is out for Eddie. Eddie has many sensory problems and autism methods do work on him. He would be very hard to diagnosis as autistic, however many blind children are diagnosed as such because of similar characterics. Wow...did that all make sense? Getting late...
