Fever 1793 by Laurie Anderson-
This book was a very interesting book to read. It is hard to tell if it is fictional or non fictional becuase yellow fever WAS real, but it's hard to guess if the story and people in this book is real.
Either way, it was a very good book about a girl who's family owns a coffee house with buisness going great until yellow fever strikes their town. Many flee, and she tries to, but is stopped by people turning people around if they hvae yellow fever trying to get out of that area, becuase her grandfather is sick. She is struck with yellow fever and then healed. When she finally gets around to returning to the Coffeehouse her mother is no- where to be found and the mail is not being delivered.
The questions the author forces you to ponder are where her mother went, if her mother is even still alive, and when and how will they ever get through the plague.
