I personally wasn't nuts about this, but I would recommend it to some high school boys. Darren and his best friend Eric spend their time creating a super detailed science fiction world, which they plan to turn into a trilogy of movies, some comic books, etc. Then Eric tells Darren his secret, as revealed in the title of the book. Then a girl comes between them, and Eric's secret gets leaked.

Not as funny as advertised, but sometimes clever. Slowly evolves from realistic fiction into sci fi.
