Read from April 06 to 08, 2010

Dr. Laura Polk, a vet, works at a biological center in New Orleans. When Border Patrol Agent Jack Menard calls her to investigate some genetically enhanced animals her world gets seriously dangerous. There is alot of science involved in this book. There are also alot of coincidences. Jack Menard happens to be the brother of her dead ex-boyfriend who was killed in a car crash. She crashed the car. Tension ensues. Everything was tied up a little too neatly in the end. Somehow the two of them outwit some Blackwater-type operatives. I am planning to read some other Rollins books because I have heard good things about them. This one was just OK.
