really liked it

** spoiler alert ** Summary- Mangus; ex-magician and Fabrizo together must prove that the King's son is not a ghost, but bigger secrets are revealed.

My Passage-"Master, " Fabrizio pressed, "you said that you did not believe in ghosts, only in ghost stories. But can't a story speak the truth? You know what they say 'Artist tell lies to tell the truth.' And you master are a great artist.

I chose this passage because- I chose this passage becuase this is when Fabrizio realizes that Mangus knows that the Princes ghost isn't real and that the princess and the Queen are hoaxing everyone so that Guard Scarazoni is blamed for his death.

MFMoroney how do the characters change throughout the book? (ex- does the magician start to believe in magic?)

KMSchoessling Well yes, Fabrizio(the main character) at first is really shy and nervous all the time, but by the end he is much more confident and believes in himself and his magic more. Mangus(the magician) was already confident, but a little ashamed of his past magic. By the end he was much more happy, and proud of his past. He never does believe in his magic though, becuase in the end he proves that the ghost isn't real or magic. So he never does believe in his magic, he thinks he used to be a trickster.
