The events surrounding the March to Selma in 1965 may be well known except for this - there were a large number of teenagers who protested and who were jailed for participating. The book does a great job of explaining one event and using it to illustrated the struggle for civil rights in the 1060s by focusing on the kids involved, but the tone, or voice, of the writing didn't totally capture their voice for me.
